About Buffy Stinchfield, PT
Buffy Stinchfield, PT, MPT is a Physical Therapist in private practice in Vancouver, Washington and has been practicing for 12 years. She specializes in perinatal (pregnancy & postpartum) and pelvic Physical Therapy. She also specializes in caring for female athletes of all levels and ages by combining her orthopedic and women’s health expertise.
She is passionate about whole-body health and one-on-one patient care. She combines her musculoskeletal expertise with female specific functional medicine principles to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients. Buffy holds an understanding and empathy for women suffering from pelvic health issues and strongly believes they deserve the treatment and care that she herself never had access to.
She evaluates and treats patients with various women's health related conditions and core & pelvic floor conditions. She believes that postpartum physical therapy care should be part of healthcare for every woman following birth. Buffy's practice also includes community education classes with the goal of empowering as many women as possible. She uses her knowledge and expertise to help you attain better health and well-being and/or optimal function and performance in life and sport.
Buffy earned a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2006 from California State University, Northridge. She has continued her education in women’s health post graduate school with the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Buffy relocated to Washington in 2006 where she lives today with her husband, three children and one dog.
